Carrie has over 30 years of experience working within corporate Talent Acquisition and Talent Development roles. She works to build Teams for large global organizations while supporting the Equity, Diversity and Inclusion initiatives and best practices designed to create safe and inclusive workplaces which help these companies become employers of choice and attract Top Talent.
This proud Mother and Stepmother, along with her loving partner, have raised five incredible children; three girls and two boys through the young school age, pre-teen, teenage years. They are now all independent capable adults living around the globe. Carrie’s family journey has recently expanded with the addition of their first grandson in 2020.
Carrie is also a passionate advocate for breaking down the barriers of ageism both in the workplace and in sports. She is an accomplished track and field athlete who recently competed in the 100m and 200m events at the Ontario Masters Championships in the W50-55 category. Goals in sports can be exceeded at any age, especially in women. Carrie looks forward to supporting Fast and Female as a member of the Board of Directors by contributing to the development of a coaching and mentoring mindset in young girls and young women to continue to foster a love of sports throughout all life stages.
