Her professional and volunteer resume includes communications, fitness management and sport coaching while her personal passion for sport and fitness is undeniable. Previous community leadership roles include Co-Chair of the Queen Victoria P.S. Parent Council and Chair of its Black Student Success Committee.
As Chair of the Fast & Female Anti-Racism and Respect Advisory Committee (ARRC), Debbie hopes to build on the amazing work F&F is doing nationwide by embedding an anti-racism and respect analysis into everything the organization does so that girls and women who have historically been underserved will be represented, engaged and inspired to reap the many benefits of sport participation thus contributing to a healthier fabric of equality and leadership among Canadian women.
