FAMILY NIGHT AT HOME WITH JAYS CARE FOUNDATION

Fast and Female is thrilled to share that we have been selected for the Jays Care Foundation much-anticipated Family Night at Home initiative! This incredible opportunity allows us to extend our reach and support 25 deserving families in Scarborough and East York, ON, over the next three Sundays (January 28th up until Sunday February 11th). We want to extend our gratitude to Girls and Women in Motion for their support in the recruitment process. The selected families were participants in the 2022 and 2023 Girls and Women in Motion Built to Play Girl’s Soccer Program, in which Fast and Female served as a trustee.

Our participation in the Family Night at Home initiative is rooted in our commitment to fostering positive experiences and promoting unity through shared activities. The chosen families will be treated to a meal from the support of local family-run restaurant, Mommzies Moses Cuisine, at no-cost, thanks to the Jays Care Foundation.

In addition to the meal, each family will receive a Family Game Night package. The package will include weekly activities that encourage quality family time together. Families will have the chance to win grand prizes from Jays Care by completing the weekly activity challenges and submitting photos and videos of the completed tasks. To align with our mission in empowering girls through sport, physical activity and education, Fast and Female will be providing additional activities highlighting the benefits of girls in sport, and women role models.

We know that sport, physical activity, and education contribute to the well-being and empowerment of individuals and families: the Family Night at Home initiative provides an opportunity for families to engage in meaningful and enjoyable activities that align with our values. We are grateful to be selected as one of the organizations for this initiative and look forward to sharing more on the experience and feedback we receive from the 25 selected families.
