MEET OUR ROLE MODEL ADVISORY COMMITTEE!

Fast and Female is thrilled to announce the formation of our inaugural REAL (Relatable, Empowered, Active Leaders) Role Model Advisory Committee (RRMAC)! The committee will work alongside our staff, board members, and Youth Advisory Council to ensure we are creating a supportive environment for our Role Models to develop their leadership skills and ensure their voice is integrated throughout our operations.

Our REAL Role Models (RRMs) are the foundation of our organization. Those in our RRM network volunteer thousands of hours annually, to assist in hosting and leading our local and virtual events and programming. Ranging from professional athletes, educators, coaches, undergraduate students, to the recreational athlete or weekend warrior; these inspiring women provide opportunities for powerful connections with self-identified girls in their communities.

The incoming council, led by Tammy Cunnington, PLY, will support our growing network of Role Models across Canada. We know that our participants can’t be what they don’t see, and our goal is to continue to invest in and support our Role Models. Our RRMAC will be the voice of our Role Models and ensure to keep their best interests and needs top of mind, and working alongside the Fast and Female staff to adapt and grow the program.
